Shirley Kaping, a Benchmark founding member and
current board member, worked for twenty years at Lane County Legal Aid
handling all forms of government benefits cases. She served as the Senior Paralegal at Lane County Law
& Advocacy Center in Eugene, Oregon where she did Social Security and
Supplemental Security Income cases and legislative advocacy with the state
legislature until her retirement in December 2007.
She serves as core faculty at Benchmark's Trial & Hearing Skills Training
and the College of Advocacy.View
