Description
Nestled
in the Santa Cruz Mountains just south
of San
Jose, Presentation Center is a retreat and
conference
facility.
Benchmark
trainings are held in the Main Building
which
holds bedrooms for faculty and participants
as well
as the meeting rooms.
Delicious
home-cooked meals are served in the
Main
Dining Room a short walk from the Main Building.
Hiking
trails, swimming pool and a tennis/volleyball court
are
available.
The
Center’s sponsor, the Sisters of the Presentation,
is a
Catholic religious community. For sixteen years
the
sisters have supported Benchmark and the mission of
the
people we serve. Here is an excerpt from Presentation
Center’s
mission statement:

Directions
(Note: if
you are traveling north to Presentation Center,
Mapquest
and Yahoo will give you a different exit from Hwy 17.
However,
we recommend following the directions below and
exiting
at Bear Creek Road since the overpass at that off ramp
will make
it easy to cross Hwy 17.)
From the
North (Hwy 101)
Take
Hwy 880 South towards Santa Cruz (880 becomes 17)
Pass
Los Gatos and take the Bear Creek Road exit
Turn
left at the stop sign onto Bear Creek Road.
Go two
miles up Bear Creek Road. Turn left into Presentation Center

From the
North (Hwy 280)
Take
Hwy 85 South towards Gilroy
Take
Hwy 17 South towards Santa Cruz
Pass
Los Gatos and take the Bear Creek Road exit
Turn
left at the stop sign onto Bear Creek Road
Go two
miles up Bear Creek Road. Turn left into Presentation Center

Northeast (Hwy 680)
Take
Hwy 680 South toward San Jose
Take Hwy 280 North (Hwy 680 becomes Hwy 280 North)
Take Hwy 17 South toward Santa Cruz
Pass Los Gatos and take the Bear Creek Road exit
Turn
left at the stop sign onto Bear Creek Road
Go two
miles up Bear Creek Road. Turn left into Presentation Center
