Support Staff Forum 2009

January 22, 2009 San Francisco
January 29, 2009 Pasadena

Support Staff Forum 2009 brings together legal secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and other support staff to enhance the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy legal services office or public interest law firm.

Support staff are talented team members playing multiple roles in the office and the all-important bridge between the office and the client community.

Support staff make it possible for attorneys, advocates, managers and others to do quality work. A skilled and professionally trained support staff make good programs better programs, furthering the goals of reducing and eliminating poverty through competent legal services.

You’ll learn strategies to pursue in a public interest practice that recognize and deal with:
     • handling the pressure of multiple tasks, deadlines, and bosses
     • overcoming productivity roadblocks
     • needs for ongoing training and development

Experience Benchmark’s trademark training methods — interactive learning that incorporates knowledge and perspectives relevant to public interest practice.
