Support Staff Forum 2009 brings together legal secretaries, administrative
assistants, receptionists, and other support staff to enhance the ability to
manage multiple priorities in a busy legal services office or public interest
law firm.
Support staff are talented team members playing multiple roles in the office and
the all-important bridge between the office and the client community.
Support staff make it possible for attorneys, advocates, managers and others to
do quality work. A skilled and professionally trained support staff make good
programs better programs, furthering the goals of reducing and eliminating
poverty through competent legal services.
You’ll learn strategies to pursue in a public interest practice that recognize
and deal with:
• handling the pressure of multiple tasks, deadlines,
and bosses
• overcoming productivity roadblocks
• needs for ongoing training and development
