GUIDELINES
Anyone who is eligible to attend the Trial &
Hearing Skills Training can apply for a scholarship. Preference will
be given to applicants who have attended the College of Advocacy or have
equivalent experience.
All applicants must:
• commit to completing all pre-training assignments
• commit to participating fully in the entire training including arriving
on time and staying through the closing ceremony.
APPLICATION DEADLINE – June 8, 2012
Please follow these steps to insure
that you submit all of the information that we need.
1.Registration: Complete and
submit online.
2.Scholarship Application:
Complete and submit online.
3.Resume: Email to
Marie@BenchmarkInstitute.org
4.Cover letter: Optional. Email with your resume
5.Apply by June 8, 2012.
We will only accept applications submitted electronically as described above
-- no faxes or other hard copies.
You need not submit any payment now. If you
are awarded a scholarship, the balance of your payment will be due by
June 22, 2012.
SELECTION
The Scholarship Committee gives preference to
applicants from thinly financed organizations (with budgets of $1M or less) or
where travel costs are a major expense. A limited number of the better qualified applicants
may be contacted for a telephone interview.
All applicants
will be notified of the Scholarship Committee's decisions.
