Alquimia Organic Tequila Is an award winning, USDA organically certified, estate grown blue agave tequila. CASA NOBLE ORGANIC TEQUILA

Casa Noble, sponsor of Tequila Rocks!, makes epic tequilas that use only organically, hand harvested blue agave. Casa Noble triple distills its tequila in aged in French white-oak barrels. Taste its most awarded Crystal (Blanco),  Reposado aged 365 days with notes of vanilla, chocolate and butter and its Añejo aged up to 14 years with notes of chocolate, coffee bean, and rich oak. Casa Noble has donated its Crystal tequila for cocktails purchased at the bar.

After a successful career in high tech, Chef Steve Cortez has refined his talents in the kitchen and the classroom, teaching everything from cooking basics to advanced courses on world cuisines. He also fills in as a specialty chef for Stanford University, Apple Computers, and other local venues.

A Modesto family owned business provides fruits to the central valley and San Francisco Bay Area. Specializing in stone fruit, the Cipponeris also sell a variety of fruit and dried fruit year round at various farmer’s markets.
 
COCINA POBLANA
Chef Lito Saldaña merges traditional colonial flavors with modern techniques with his Tamales de costillas de puerco (pork rib tamales), Tamales de rajas con crema (chile slices with cream), Ahi tuna ceviche, 4 moles, chips and salsas (infierno (hell), pepino (cucumber, mango, avocado); the First Place Winner 2009 Taste of Tamales; People’s Choice 2010 Taste of Tequila & Tamales.
 
CROTALO TEQUILA
Crótalo Tequila, new rattlesnake (crotalo) on the block, was rated the #1 tequila of 2010 by the tequilawhisperer.com (episode #56) , high praise, indeed. Head over to taste its 45 day aged triple distilled plata (silver), 11 month 2 week double barrel aged reposado, which holds its own as stand-alone, and 2 year 3 month double barrel aged añejo, with bold flavor that can be sipped like a fine Scotch or Brandy.

Founded in 2005 by Veronica Salazar, a Mexico City native, El Huarache Loco serves up a delicious blend of Mexico City classics and organic Bay Area bounty at the San Francisco Alemany Farmer’s Market. Veronica was awarded the Best Traditional Tamale at the 2007 and 2008 Taste of Tamales by the Bay.

PREMIUM MEZCALES
Premium Mezcales, created by Rudy and Claudia Favila, is a wholesaler and importer of certified Mezcal from the State of Oaxaca. Mezcal, a distilled spirit may be made from a number of different agave species and may be produced over a wide part of Mexico; while Tequila, made only from the blue weber agave, is predominantly made in state of Jalisco. Rudy, King of Mezcal, offers tastes of Sacacuento and Agave de Cortes from Oaxaca.

RANCHO GORDO
Steve Sando, Rancho Gordo's proprietor extraordinaire, grows and sells outstanding new world heirloom dry beans. Rancho Gordo has twenty to thirty varieties of beans on hand at any one time and Steve be will be bringing some to share (cooked, of course) and some to sell (uncooked).

SPICE OF LIFE
Spice creator Lori Foster asks us to imagine life without vanilla ice cream, cinnamon buns, or gingerbread cookies; chili sauce, taco seasoning or garlic bread. Lori shares her spices, herbs and blends.
 
SUHA SUHA STUDIO

Artists Sung Jae Bang and Haelee Choi use their artistic talent to create everyday items that make people smile.  Whimsical animals and foods are their themes.  Their individually handmade ceramic pieces include coasters, tea bag plates, necklaces and tile paintings.

A new venture by entrepreneur Alicia Villanueva showcases an awesome variety of tamales.
 
TEQUILA DON PILAR
Entrepreneur Don Jose Pilar Contreras uses unique, artisanal methods to create his fine Tequila -- fermented with Champagne yeast, and bathed in Baroque music during the 200 hour distillation process. Sample Don Pilar Blanco, described as clean and bright with pineapple and zest, and a gently creamy finish; and Añejo, aged in virgin American white oak barrels with a taste redolent of butterscotch, chocolate, toasted agave. Certified kosher.Tequila.net gives it a 94.1 Editor's Rating.
 
TEQUILA EL RELINGO
Named after an elegant horse in Jalisco, El Relingo is an award winning tequila crafted by brothers Sergio and Jose Juan Carlos Barajas from 100% blue agave.  El Relingo’s Blanco, Reposado and Anejo join unique aromas, body, and flavors sure to please.
 
TEQUILA MANANA
The Mañana Legend holds that owner Don Pancho Vidal let his tequila rest much longer than other tequila makers. When asked when he would bring tequila out of the barrels, he said: “Mañana, mañana, will be the day.” This mañana genius has produced exceptional, award-winning tequila. Sample Mañana’s Blanco - creamy, fruity, mineral and peppery finish, all in fine balance; Reposado - nice, dry sophisticated with mild roasted vegetable, pimento, cedar dust, pickling spices, and mineral finish; Añejo - vanilla fudge, ginger and exotic peppercorn flourish on the long warming finish.
