Effectively presenting and arguing facts is a core advocacy skill whether representing one client or many, appealing an agency decision, defending a lawsuit or challenging a policy, pattern and practice. During the training, you値l develop your ability to:

Direct and cross lay and expert witnesses
Give opening statements and closing arguments
Introduce exhibits
Make and meet objections
Impeach and rehabilitate witnesses

You値l also learn techniques for making effective oral presentations, handling gender, race and other biases and preparing cases adequately with limited time and resources and infrequent trial work.
